While many of their mates were retiring from playing football professionally, these Premier League players have proven that age is not necessarily a factor that decides your longevity. In fact, some of these players are still winning major Trophies and could still even be in their Prime.

1. Ben Foster.

Ben Foster Started playing first team Football as early as 2001 and about 20 years later, he is still at it, going harder and harder every season. The former English International is 38 years old but the first choice goalkeeper for Watford.

2. Thiago Silva.

After coming to the Premier League not so long ago, the 37 year old Brazilian player, is still showing the agility, ability and fitness of a youngster. As a matter of fact, it seems like the Chelsea defender is still in his prime, winning his first ever Champions League at the club.

3. Cristiano Ronaldo.

Many people say that he is still way past his prime but his stats at Manchester United beg to differ. He has played 5 games and scored 5 goals this season even at 36 years of age.

4. Lukasz Fabianski.

At 36 years of age, the former Arsenal and Swansea goalkeeper is still going at it at current club West Ham United.

5. Fernandinho.The 36 year old Brazilian and Manchester City player doesn't even look like he's ending his career soon. The Manchester City captain joined the club in 2013 and has enjoyed almost every success that the club has had over the past decade.
