3 Man United player who will benefit from Ole's imminent exit & Conte’s arrival

Following a string of poor results, the Manchester United hierarchy are finally considering a change of manager. According to widespread reports from the media, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's time at Old Trafford is set to come to an end with Antonio Conte lined up as his possible replacement.

Since the reports came out, United fans have been in jubilant mood with a feeling that things are about to change for good at the club.

Even the players will be happy with this development. Reports also revealed that Solskjaer has lost control of his dressing room and his players have equally lost faith in him.

There are growing doubts about the Norwegian manager's credibility and readiness to lead the club back to her glory days.

Solskjaer's imminent exit will be beneficial to three players whom he sidelined for so long during his era at the helm of affairs. Now that the Norwegian manager is set to be replaced, these players could finally get their shot at making the starting eleven under a new coach.

1. Donny Van de Beek

Manchester United had to battle with Real Madrid to sign Van de Beek but the Dutch midfielder has barely kicked a ball since he made the switch from Ajax to Old Trafford, which is a surprise for many who are aware of his abilities.

Van De Beek joined Manchester United off the back of a Ballon D'or nomination after he guided Ajax to the semi final of the UEFA Champions League and also led their dominance on the domestic scene where they cleared almost every trophy in their path.

He was expected to play a starring role at Manchester United but surprisingly, Solskjaer elected not to include a top player like him in his plans.

Many will agree that the problem was the manager and not the player but with a change of coach looming, he will definitely get his chance to play.

Van de Beek is still only 24 years old and has the potential to develop into a world class midfielder. A top coach like Antonio Conte will give this player the chance to shine at the club and rebuild a career that was completely derailed by Solskjaer's ineptitude.

2. Eric Bailly

Bailly is another player who will feel he deserved more time on the pitch under Solskjaer. United's defence has been in shambles under Solskjaer, especially this season where they have conceded goals for fun.

The Red Devils have failed to keep a clean sheet since their 1-0 win against Wolves in late September, which remains their only clean sheet in all competitions this season.

Solskjaer's imminent sack and the appointment of Antonio Conte could spark a turn of fortunes for the Ivorian international. Conte likes to play with three center backs and will most likely deploy Bailly alongside Varane and Harry Maguire (or Lindelof) when he gets the job.

We could witness the resurgence of Bailly when Solskjaer leaves United. The 27 year old could be transformed into a monster defender just like we saw with Rudiger who became a world class player under a new manager (Tuchel) after his former manager (Lampard) sidelined him for so long.

3. Diogo Dalot

Dalot is another defender who will benefit from a change of manager. The 22 year old full back is yet to make a meaningful contribution in the colors of United, largely because Solskjaer does not fancy him. Although many Man United fans have been clamoring for his inclusion in the starting lineup.

Dalot is a different profile to what Manchester United currently have at right-back. The Portuguese is an attack minded full back who offers more going forward than Aaron Wan Bissaka whose only ability is his slide tackles.

A new manager at the helm will not hesitate to play Dalot ahead of Wan Bissaka. He will add versatility to the attack with his pace, clever movement, crossing technique and his ability to finish like a striker when the chance falls for him.

Manchester United fans are you happy with the news of Solskjaer's imminent sack or does he deserves more time to get things right at the club?
