Manchester United Stars Win Premier League May Goal Of The Month Award

Edison Cavani sensational long-range goal against the now relegated Fulham, has been voted May 2021 Premier League Goal of the Month.

The prolific Manchester United point man spotted Alphonse Areola off his line and chipped the ball with a first-time shot from 40 yards to open the scoring in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

Cavani, a.k.a 'El Matador' is the second Manchester United player to win the award this season after Bruno Fernandes took the Prize for his strike against Everton in February.

Cavani's stunning strike was chosen by a panel of experts combined with a public vote by fans, beating seven other contenders.

Eight spectacular goals were shortlisted for the Premier League May Goal of the Month award.
