Antonio Cassano May Have To Reconstruct His Words After Cristiano Ronaldo's Heroic Night In The UCL

Antonio Cassano caused a big stir earlier this week. As an Italian pundit, the former Real Madrid ridiculed Ronaldo and his agent, Jorge Mendes. Cassano made a mockery of Mendes calling Ronaldo the best player ever in football. He claimed Ronaldo is not even in the top five list of the best players that have graced the game.

That was a heavy blow on Ronaldo and his fans. Well, for every Ronaldo's critics there's always a response to prove them wrong at the end of the day. Matchday at Old Trafford last night, Ronaldo had a great night, he scored a stunning header that gave United a comeback win in the 81st minutes.

How about that Cassano? I guess he will have to reconstruct his words after Ronaldo hushing goal. One thing we need to know about Messi and Ronaldo is that they are timeless. On a different level in this game of football, every moment with them on the pitch, there will always be an expectation of a goal from them and they do not disappoint.

Instead of placing one ahead of the other, why not just watch them and enjoy the beautiful game. It won't be an understatement to say Manchester United is relying on Cristiano Ronaldo to get a result, they haven't even gotten that convincing gameplay. We must respect the fact that CR7 is behind the wheels at Manchester United.

Six goals in the last eight games for Manchester United is an unbelievable feat by an outstanding player. Time after Time, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored late winning goals to save his club and country. A man that can be banked on at any moment. You can't just write him off in the history of football, numbers don't lie and records speak more facts than words. We will wait diligently for Cassano's remarks on Cristiano Ronaldo's legacy in football.
