Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that £40m summer signing is not happy due to his limited involvement on the pitch.
Donny Van de Beek moved from Ajax to Manchester United last summer, but is still yet to establish himself as a regular starter under manager Ole Solskjaer, which has caused the player unhappiness to some extent.
Van de Beek joined the Red Devils with a hope of playing regularly, but the story is now different following the depth in United current squad. But however, Solskjaer has admitted the 24 year old midfielder is not happy due to lack of game time.
Solskjaer Said: "I wouldn't say that Donny is happy. Of course, he wants to play more, but he get about his job in the right manner.
"We are doing well and have got players who are really doing well in his position.
"He knows he is important for us, and knows he is going to play many games".
The United boss has appreciated Van de Beek performances so far, but guarantee that the player is going to get more game time in the nearest future, while also giving a hint that the midfielder will get his chance against Liverpool later today.
