Despite La Liga Victory, Zinedine Zidane Could Depart From Real Madrid This Summer

Zinedine Zidane has taken a surprising step by hinting he may not be in position of leadership of the Club next year, Los Blancos won the La Liga title earlier this week following a 2-1 victory against Villareal.

Real Madrid is ahead of Barcelona by Seven points leading into the season-finale against relegation-threatened Leganes tomorrow.

Zidane will then have three weeks to get his side fully prepared for their Champions League last-16 second leg against Manchester city.

City hold a 2-1 advantage from their first meeting as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic break.

But a defeat for real at the Ethiad could be Zidane's final match in charge as he declined to strengthen the confidence whether he would continue in his position for the 2020/21 season-even though he has two years left on his current contract.

"I am here now, but nobody knows what is going to happen next," Zidane said.

"I have contract and I am comfortable. In Football anything can happen, thing changes from one day to another, I don't know how long I will be in.

"I am lucky to be at the helm presently. I really enjoy the day to day because this will one day come to an end."

Zidane was stated further on his future plans but he declined to give more details away.

"There are many things to play," Zidane said.T here are three weeks and there is competition.
