Dewayne Dedmon wants a trade from the Sacramento Kings, according to sources that spoke with Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Dedmon signed a three-year, $41 million contract with the Kings in the off-season.
Luke Walton is believed to have soured on Dedmon and neither side believes the union can be salvaged.
The 30-year-old Dedmon was expected to be a major contributor and regular starter for the young Kings when he was signed, but that hasn't been the case. Dedmon hasn't played in eight of the past ten games.
Multiple teams are making offers for Dedmon in hopes of a deal by the deadline.
Since Dedmon's contract is only fully guaranteed through next season, finding a suitor shouldn't be difficult, and it could even result in the Kings filling a need elsewhere such as guard depth, which has been put to the test with De'Aaron Fox suffering multiple injuries this season.
