Following their defeat against Benfica in the first leg, a win would have kept them in a better position as they prepare for their final match of the group stage which is against Bayern Munich.
Xavi's men played a good game and also outclassed the Portuguese side during the game. With the amount chances Barcelona created during the game, they could have scored two or more goals if they were clinical enough in front of goal.
Their inability to score made them draw the match with Benfica. Xavi needs to look into it and teach the young players how to finish in front of the goal. It would go a long way in determining his success at the club and will also keep them in a better position for the rest of the season.
Hopefully, the team will fall in place and Barcelona of the old days would return into its full glory.
