The English Premier League returned back to action yesterday and as such, a lot of actions were displayed.
Manchester United did all they could to emerge victorious but Pep Guardiola's side were better than them in all angles. The game ended 2-0 in favour of Manchester City, leaving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's job hanging by just a thread.
Newly promoted side Brentford were also in action against Norwich City but they were clearly beaten. Brentford who have been unable to build on their early season heroics, were a shadow of themselves in their 1-2 loss to Norwich.
Table toppers Chelsea were in action against Burnley but they were held to a 1-1 draw at full time. The game was a tough one for both sides, and they had to settle for a draw.

Chelsea are currently leading the table with 26 points, but they are closely followed by Manchester City with 23 points. Liverpool on the other hand, are in 3rd position, while they are closely followed by West Ham United in 4th.

Liverpool's forward, Salah is currently leading the standings with ten goals. He is closely followed by Vardy (7 goals) While Michael Antonio is in third position with six goals.
