The 20-year-old striker is one of the most sought-after prospects in world football, with Europe's top clubs reportedly lining up to sign him. Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Barcelona are all said to be interested in a £100 million move.
In just 32 games for Dortmund this season, the Norway international has scored 33 goals and provided eight assists.
And Haaland's former coach at Bryne FK, Alf Ingve Berntsen, has revealed his wish for the player.
“If I had to choose, I'd choose Liverpool because it's my club - but I don't!” he said.
“I have no idea what they're going to do. Erling and his team made excellent decisions. They've previously shown outstanding judgement in finding the right club for him.”
Berntsen also disclosed what he felt when he first saw Haaland play when he was seven years old.
“It's a very small town, with a population of just around 12,000 people,” the coach told BBC 5 Live. “Almost everybody is acquainted with one another.
“I first saw him play football when he was seven years old, and he was outstanding right away. We didn't know how far he'd go, but every now and then, a young player emerges who has something unique from the start.
