Mason Mount's contract at Chelsea will expire at the end of next season. The 24-year-old Midfielder has been locked in a contract extension talk with Chelsea since the beginning of this season but the West London club isn't close to reaching any agreement with him.
First team Players like Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell and Reece James have been handed new deals this season but Chelsea has failed to make any headway on Mason Mount's front.
The incoming Chelsea Manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly keen on working with Mason Mount as the Argentina Gaffer wants to build his team around Chelsea's homegrown Players but, his appointment as Chelsea Boss might not be early enough to influence Mason Mount's decision next summer.
Even if Mauricio Pochettino is to come in to try and convince Mason Mount, the England International is more closer to leaving Chelsea than staying, with top Premier League clubs are interested in him.
According to Metro UK, the trio of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are all interested in signing Mason Mount at the end of this season. I mean, this season wasn't special for Mason Mount as the England International also struggled but, that hasn't stopped him from getting the attention of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
The England International has scored 33 goals in 195 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions since he made his debut for the Club in 2017.
Chelsea has lost quite a lot of Academy Players in the last few seasons including Fikayo Tomori, Tammy Abraham, Billy Gilmour, Marc Guehi and Tariq Lamptey. No one would have thought that Mason Mount could be among the academy Graduates that Chelsea could lose to Premier League rivals.
