Top 5 longest serving managers currently at Premier League teams

The Premier League has seen a lot of managerial changes in recent times, with Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard taking over at Aston Villa, and Antonio Conte replacing Nuno Espirito Santo.

With these changes, and with talks centering on the future of Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, I would like to report on the longest serving coaches, who are currently managing in the Premier League.

5. Thomas Frank of Brentford

The Dane has been at Brentford for 3 years and a month. He joined the club as an assistant coach in December of 2016, but was made head coach in October, 2018 after Dean Smith left the role. Since then, he has improved the club, helping them gain promotion to the 2021/22 Premier League season.

4. Marcelo Bielsa of Leeds

Marcelo Bielsa joined Leeds United in the summer of 2018. After 16 years of absence from the Premier League, the 66-year-old helped the club gain promotion to the top flight of English football for the 2020/21 season. He has spent over three years and four months at the club.

3. Pep Guardiola of Manchester City

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss signed for the club in February 2016 for the start of the 2016/17 season. Since his arrival, he has led the club to several league titles and cup wins.

2. Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp joined Liverpool in October 2015. Since then, he has taken Liverpool to the top of club football, winning the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the Club World Cup.

1. Sean Dyche of Burnley

The Englishman joined Burnley in October 2012. He has managed the club in over 400 games in the Championship and Premier League combined.
