Chelsea football club were undoubtedly one of the few busy Premier League clubs during the just concluded summer transfer window before it was shut down last month.
The West London club, who won the UEFA Champions League trophy last season are keen on achieving more success under manager Thomas Tuchel and have completed the signings of Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Bettinelli to bolster their squad.
That has paid off quite well so far as the Blues are currently in first position on the Premier League table after racking up 16 points from their first seven league matches.
And despite their good run of form, the Blues are keen on improving their attacking options when the transfer window opens next year and have been linked with a move to re-sign Eden Hazard from Real Madrid.
The 30-year-old Belgium International, who left Chelsea to join Real Madrid in 2019 has failed to live up to expectations at the club since he made the move.
Even though the experienced winger had an impressive 2020/2021 where he scored four goals and provided one assist in 48 appearances in all competitions, he has been plagued with injuries at Real Madrid.
Eden Hazard has had a bright start to the 2021/2022 season so far, recording one assist in eight appearances in all competitions for the Los Blancos.
It is believed that the experienced winger is hoping for a move away from the club and according to reports from Daily Mail, Chelsea are keen on bringing him back to the Stamford Bridge.
The Blues want to improve an area that already consists of the likes of Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount and are making move to sign Eden Hazard when the transfer window opens next year.
