The European football governing body popularly known as UEFA has reacted after Barcelona youngster Ilaix Moriba came from the bench to score his first senior goal for Ronald Koeman led team, in their 2-0 victory over Osasuna football club in the week 26th of the Spanish Laliga Santander.
Ilaix Moriba who is Barcelona Academy graduate was introduced to the pitch in the second half of the game by coach Ronald Koeman, and he was able to impress, as he scored his first ever senior career goal for the club.
The youngster was introduced to replace Sergio Busquets in the 67th minutes, and he was able to impress, as he scored a fine goal to guide his team to a deserved 2-0 away victory.
Jordi Alba opened scoring for the home team in the 30th minute, after receiving an assist from Lionel Messi to end the first half 1-0.
Substitute Ilaix Moriba doubled the lead in the 83rd minutes, through another fine assist from Lionel Messi, to end the match 2-0 in favour of the visitors.
Ilaix Moriba was outstanding for the former Spanish Laliga Santander Champions in the game, and he was able to marked his excellent performance with a fine goal.
With Ilaix Moriba's second half goal in means he has become the fifth youngest Barcelona player to score in Spanish Laliga Santander history.
Reacting to the youngster's record, UEFA posted on their verified Twitter handle that;
"Two assists for Lionel Messi while Ilaix Moriba becomes the fifth youngest Barcelona goalscorer in Liga history. 👏👏"
