"The Sweat, The Time, The Exertion And The Devotion, It Pays Off," Says Recuperating Stephen Ezeh

Nigeria international and Tobol FC of Kazakhstan centre back, Stephen Ezeh, is pleased with progress made at his Turkish rehabilitation centre.

The 26-year-old who recently had a successful surgery in the European country and has working out his socks in the gym as he strives for fitness and get back playing for his club.

He took to social media to express his delight at progress made so far.

"The sweat, the time, the exertion and the devotion, it pays off, " stated the former Lobi Stars defender who recently had a minor arthroscopy in a Turkish hospital to fix labral on his left shoulder, as a preventative measure to avoid any damage to important muscles and shoulder dislocation in the future.

The 26-year-old recently expressed his gratitude to Nigeria team-mate and Monaco striker, Henry Onyekuru, who paid him a visit at temporary base in Turkey, where Onyekuru recently finished his second loan stint with Galatasaray.

The former Sunshine Stars and FC Ifeanyi Ubah player joined the Kazakhstan Premier League side in January on a free, following an impressive season at Bulgarian club Lokomotiv Plovdiv, where he scored thrice in 57 appearances.

The shoulder injury has impeded his career at FC Botol, who have been playing in the Kazakhstan Premier League since its inception in 1992.

He has been capped 13 times by Nigeria since making his debut in 2015, and was a key member of the Super Eagles B team to CHAN 2016, featuring in all the group games, as the team were eliminated in the first round.
