Gameweek 7( Day 2) Ended in a cool way as Liverpool drew 2-2 with Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday in a breathless game.
Liverpool started the match on the front foot, with Jurgen Klopp's side dominating possession, creating chances and causing all sorts of problems for Manchester City's defence.
But the first real chance of the match fell to the Citizens after a brillant dazzling run from Bernando Sliva who dribbled past a couple of Liverpool players, before picking out Phil Foden with a nice pass, but the Englishman saw his effort saved by Allison Becker. Gabriel Jesus and Kelvin De Bruyne also had chances but they couldn't make it count. Pep Guardiola's side also had a big shout for penalty which was ignored by the referee after Phil Foden was tripped by James Milner in the area.
Liverpool lacked the ideas going forward, with Ruben Dias and Laporte keeping the likes of Mohammed Salah, Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane quiet. Things ended 0-0 in the first half.

The Reds broke the deadlock on the 59th minute, with Mohammed Salah skipping past Joao Cancelo before laying off a pass to Sadio Mane who smashed past Ederson to make it 1-0.
Manchester City got back on level terms 10 minutes later, with De Bruyne feeding the ball outwide to Gabriel Jesus who spotted the run of Phil Foden before passing, the young English Midfielder slotted past Allison Becker to equalise.
It was a closely contested affair at Anfield, with Jurgen Klopp's side scoring the second after a fine individual effort from Mohammed Salah who went past a couple of defenders with ease, before slotting past Ederson to make it 2-1
Liverpool's lead didn't last for long as Kelvin De Bruyne equalised for Pep Guardiola's side from a cut back from Phil Foden.
Fabinho could have won it for Liverpool in the closing stages of the game, but his effort was blocked by Rodri.
