CHE vs SFC: Match Prediction, Team News And Kickoff Time

In the Women's Champions League, Chelsea Women welcome Servette Chenois to Kingsmeadow on Thursday, with the hosts hoping to repeat their overwhelming performance in Switzerland last week.

Chelsea lead Group A with seven points after three games, and a win on Thursday would push them closer to the knockout stages. Last week, they thrashed Servette 7-0, with six of those goals coming before half-time in a dominating display.

Fran Kirby and Sam Kerr each scored a brace, while Melanie Leupolz, Jessie Fleming, and Guro Reiten also scored.

Chelsea trounced Manchester City 4-0 in the Women's Super League on Sunday, putting on another authoritative performance.

Chelsea made it six wins in a row in all competitions after Fleming gave them the lead after just two minutes. Kirby doubled their lead before half-time, and an impressive performance was capped off in the second half by goals from Kirby and Magdalena Eriksson.

Servette has struggled in Group A, with the Swiss side unable to cope with teams that are aiming to advance further in the campaign.

The Swiss champions bounced back from their humiliating loss to Chelsea with a resounding victory against Basel at the weekend.

Servette won 3-0, keeping pace with league leaders FC Zurich thanks to a Sandy Maendly brace and a goal from Natalia Padilla.

On Thursday, Eric Severac's team will be terrified of another hammering, but they may be confident after winning five of their past six tough away games.

Servette's main concern will be that their sole away match in Group A ended in a 5-0 loss to Wolfsburg, and Severac will be worried about a similar scoreline against Chelsea.

Pernille Harder and Aniek Nouwen are not likely to play in Thursday's game due to injury concerns.

Meanwhile, Kerr's contract was extended to 2024 on Tuesday, and the Australian forward will be eager to keep up her fine goal-scoring form, as she has three goals in her past two games.

Servette will be hoping that Padilla's current league form will be carried over to the Champions League, as the Polish international has scored three goals in her past two league games.

Chelsea are in fine form, and I believe they will beat their opponents on Thursday in order to cement their position atop Group A. This match will be won by Chelsea.

KICKOFF TIME: The match between Chelsea and Servette will go down tomorrow at 9PM Nigerian time.
