Omos is one of the few Nigerian wrestlers making waves in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) industry. The athlete was diagnosed with a pituitary tumour back in 2012 which would have made him go blind if surgery was not carried out.
Omos hails from Lagos, Nigeria, and was sent to the United States on a scholarship when he was just fifteen leaving his family behind in Nigeria. Upon graduating from the University of South Florida, Omos decided to try out being a wrestler in WWE.
He made his debut on Monday Night Raw, where he was presented as a member of Akira Tozawa's ninja faction. Ever since his debut, Omos has become a weapon of Mass destruction as he easily destroys his opponents in the ring.
At WrestleMania 37, Omos won the WWE Raw tag team championship with AJ Styles. Omo's undefeated streak came to an end after losing to Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 38. Omos is ready to have the greatest match of his career as he comes one on one against the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39.
The Nigerian giant will have to defeat Brock Lesnar to send a message to the WWE Universe that he shouldn't be underestimated in the Industry. Do you think Omos would be able to slay the Beast at the biggest stage of them all just like Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns did?
let's hear your thoughts in the comment section below.
