The Italian Serie A club giants AS Roma was hosted by Bodo Glimt in Norway for their 3rd match fixture of the UEFA Europa Conference League and the match ended in a shocking 6-1 defeat for Jose Mourinho's men.
Roma will be hosting their domestic league rivals, Napoli, in this weekend's Italian Serie A fixtures. I will be talking about four players the club should bench in their next match for best results.
1. Rui Patricio
The 33-year-old Portuguese goalkeeper Rui Patricio conceded six goals out of the nine shots on target Bodo Glimt had against Roma in their Europa Conference League match.
Jose Mourinho should be benched as the goalkeeper against Napoli for his club to avoid another defeat this weekend.
The 21-year-old defender Marash Kumbulla who is currently on loan from Hellas Verona was one of Roma's worst players on the pitch in the club's recent embarrassing defeat. He should be benched in their next game for best results.
Just like Kumbulla, Roma's 19-year-old defender Riccardo Calafiori made errors that led to them conceding goals in his club's 6-1 defeat to Bodo Glimt. He should be benched against Napoli to create room for a more experienced defender.
4. Tammy Abraham
The 24-year-old English striker failed to make an impact in Roma's attack when he come on the pitch as a second-half substitute against Bodo Glimt. Tammy Abraham was also quite against Juventus and should be benched by Jose Mourinho in Roma's next fixture for best results.
