Liverpool takes on rivals Manchester City in the Community Shield on Saturday.

The Community Shield, according to Jurgen Klopp, has been set too soon for a Liverpool club that didn't finish its previous campaign until the end of May.

Liverpool will begin the new season against Manchester City on Saturday, kicking off their quest to surpass their formidable contemporary rivals.

The game will be taken seriously by Liverpool boss Klopp because he has never won it, he remarked today.

But he noted that since his team participated in the Champions League final on May 28 in Paris, consideration should be given to flexibility regarding the weekend it is played.

Although I think it would be possible to find another date, I appreciate the competition, stated Klopp.

"Our season was longer than that of other clubs, and our preseason is now shorter."

It doesn't really make sense, Maybe someone can consider this. But we must do so, and that is what we are trying to do. The new season begins in two days, and we are eagerly anticipating it.

It is significant since we have played this game before and a victory would be wonderful. We still need to prevail in this one.

Alisson, Liverpool's goalkeeper, won't be playing in Saturday's match at Leicester's King Power Stadium. However, the Brazilian is working out and should be ready for Liverpool's opening Premier League match against Fulham in a week.
