Current EPL table after Liverpool won 5-0, Man city won 2-0 and Man united lost 4-2

Manchester united traveled to the King Power staduim to play in their first premier league fixture after the October international break.

The red devils were looking to put an end to their two game winless run in the Premier league while Leicester city were looking to pile more misery on Ole Gunner Solskjaer men.

The game began with Leicester seeing more of the ball as United were pegged back to their own half. The away side would however take the lead against the run of play though as Mason Greenwood hit a venomous left footed shot that beat Kasper Smeichiel from outside the box.

United lead would not last long though as a defensive mishap involving David De gea and Harry Maguire saw the home side get a much deserved equalizer as Youri Tielemans dinked the ball past David De gea to draw Brendan Rodgers men level heading into half time.

The second half of the game was more of a tighter encounter as neither sides wanted to relinquish the upper hand to the other. Leicester city had a few opportunities but poor finishing saw them fail to take the lead in the game.

Leicester city would eventually take the lead in the game deservingly in the 78th minute as Caglar Soyuncu poked in from close range after pouncing on a loose ball. United equalized few minutes later with Marcus Rashford scoring after a fine through ball from Victor Lindelof.

Leicester regained their lead almost immediately after Jamie Vardy pounced on a cutback from Ayoze Perez. The game would end in a 4-2 win for the home side as substitute Patson Daka added a fourth goal for the home late in the game.

Earlier in the day, Liverpool had defeated Watford at the Vicarage road. Jurgen Klopp's men continued their fine unbeaten run as goals from Roberto Firminho(hattrick) , Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah secured a 5-0 win over the hornets.

Elsewhere Manchester city also secured a hard fought victory against Burnley as goals from Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden saw Pep Guardiola's side get back to winning ways in the premier league.
