Arsenal are expecting to receive a transfer offer for their 23-year-old star very soon as some Premier League top clubs are interested in hiring his services for the new Premier league season.
Arsenal are ready to oversee a major squad clear-out during the current summer transfer window as they look to make a strong charge for the Premier League title and other trophies they would take part in during next season's events.
Already Mikel Arteta and his backroom staff have overseen the departure of Matteo Guendouzi and William Saliba. The two players joined Marseille on a season long loan but a mandatory option to buy was added in Guendouzi's deal.
More players are expected to follow the duo out of Emirates stadium this summer, with Reiss Nelson, Hector Bellerin, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Granit Xhaka, Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira all possible departures this summer.
However, it is Arsenal's English star Ainsley Maitland-Niles who is attracting a lot of interest from clubs within the country.
According to a report released by BBC Sport this morning, three top Premier League clubs are after the player's signature and the Gunners are expecting an offer for the England international soon.
The report has claimed that the three clubs are Leicester City, Burnley and Southampton but refused to reveal the club who is leading the race for his signature.
The Gunners academy graduate spent time on loan at West Brom last season after the Gunners opted to allow him join big Sam's side for the second half of last season as he was not getting enough playing time.
After seeing out his loan spell with West Bromwich Albion, Niles revealed that if he does not get a guarantee from Arteta that he would be involve in a lot of games next season, he would gladly leave them before the new season.
Niles would also make a great signing for either of the above mentioned clubs as his versatility could be a great asset to them, Leicester City especially.
