Iwuala on Monday evening finally completed his summer transfer to Esperance, having been in the North African country of Tunisia since last week.
According to transfer expert, Nuhu Adams, Esperance paid Enyimba $5000,000 to seal the 22-year-old’s transfer.
Iwuala is reportedly going to earn around $45,000 as monthly salary, having put pen to paper on a three-year deal.
Moroccan side, Raja Casablanca were also interested in the Nigerian international but he has finally linked up with Esperance.
Esperance confirmed his signing on their official website and verified Instagram account, writing: "Anayo Emmanuel Makshach for three years.
"Super Eagles forward, @anayo_iwuala17 joins Tunisian side, @esperance_sportive_detunis on a three-year deal from @fcenyimba. Good luck to our new striker!"
The player attracted interest from a number of clubs abroad following a remarkable campaign for eight-time Nigerian Professional Football League champions, Enyimba.
