The world Nigerian football has witnessed the rise of many talents that cannot be replaced in decades to come. Starting from the likes of J.J Okocha, Kanu Nwakwo, and down to Mikel Obi, we have seen them all, and we hope on seeing more of such talents rise to the top of the world. But amongst them is the goalkeeper-captain of the Super Eagles, "Peter Rufai." who is popularly known as "Dodo mayana".
Peter Rufai was born 24 August 1963, he played as a goal keeper for Nigeria and at the international level, he is also regarded as one of the best goalkeepers we have ever had. But just a few persons know that Rufai was born to a Royal family in Lagos, after the death of his father, he was called to take the throne, but he refused it because he wanted to pursue his career as a Footballer.
Rufai has a goalkeeper academy in Spain and has produced alot of professional goalkeepers for the international leagues. It has been noticed that Rufai has had some challenges with his face after he developed acne that did alot of damage to his face.
