The second La Liga fixture of today saw Real Madrid travel to face Huesca at the Estadio El Alcoraz. The Los Blancos were looking to bounce back from their previous disappointing 2-1 loss to Levante in the La Liga Matchday 21. Real Madrid got the job done as they initiated a wonderful come back to secure a well deserved 2-1 over the home side.
Real Madrid had more of the venom going forward as they had several attempts on target but none could result in a goal for them. Huesca also had their fair share attempts but none could hit the intended target as the first half ended in a goalless draw between both sides at halftime.
Huesca had a bright start to the second half as they opened the scoring in the 48th minute through Javi Galan's fantastic strike from Shinji Okazaki's cross to put the host 1-0 ahead in the encounter. Real Madrid got a nice response in the 55th minute as Raphael Varane headed home from a loose situation to make the scoreline level at 1-1.
It was end-to-end stuff between both sides in the 2nd half as they directed several glorious attempts on goal forcing brilliant saves from each others goalkeeper. Raphael Varane once again came to Real Madrid's aid as he capitalised on a ball parried by Alvaro Fernandes to give the Los Blancos a narrow 2-1 victory over Huesca at full-time
