Memphis Depay is the latest star to join the Catalan on a free transfer.
Barcelona FC have confirmed Memphis Depay will be joining the club after his contract with Olympique Lyonnais expires at the end of this month. "FCB and Memphis Depay have reached an agreement for the player to join the club once his contract with Olympique Lyonnais is at an end. The player will sign a contract until the end of the 2022/23 season.
The 27-year-old showed himself as being a prolific forward since his days at PSV Eindhoven where he netted 39 goals in 90 appearances within four years in the Eredivisie before moving to Manchester United. He spent one-and-a-half season in a disappointing United era having 33 appearance and scoring 2 goals in the Premier League. He then signed four-and-a-half-year deal with Olympique Lyonnais where he had 139 league appearance, scoring 63 goals.
Sergio Kun Aguero is a well known player whose appearance in front of goal is topnotch. He has scored more than 300 goals in over 600 appearance in his playing career in which he scored a brace in his last match for Manchester City to reach Premier League goals of 184 in 275 appearance to break Wayne Rooney's record for most goals for a single club in the Premier League.
Aguero scored a total of 260 goals in 389 appearance for Manchester City a team he played for breaking different records, a career he will remember forever.
Eric García Martret was a product of La Masia, the Barcelona academy, before joining Manchester City in 2017. He was the captain of the under 18s in his first season and played for the under 19s in the UEFA Youth League.
He might not have recorded a goal for the senior team but we all know the kind of quality a La Masia product can posses.
The club's transfer policy this summer shows they are the gold miners in the famous sport as they focused on players who fit into their plan and also their coach's tactical approach.
