Manchester United set to sign top star for free as talks enter advance stage.
Manchester United have made huge amount of progress in their bid to sign the attacking midfielder who has been recently linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Despite the wide array of attacking talents at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's disposal, the Red Devils are still looking to bring in another attacking midfielder and Calhanoglu seems to be the man for them.
According to reports, the Turkey international has refused to commit to fresh terms at the Italian club with his contract to expire by next summer.
This is what Falk told Stretford Paddock:
“Yes it’s true and I think this will happen because last summer there will already talks with his agent,” Falk told the Stretford Paddock.
“I don’t know if you know that Juventus would have also have liked him last summer but he said, ‘no’. He said no because he already knew what would happen this summer with United.
“Talks are already very, very far at the moment and he’ll be a free agent, so this transfer is very, very likely.”
However, Manchester United will need to offload some players in January as they look to create space for new arrivals.
