The English premier league is back once again to the faces of its viewers and fans. The Premier league kick started with Crystal Palace against Arsenal. The match between the both teams have been an interesting one and exciting to watch, as the both teams are displaying their best performances tonight.
The scoreline as at the time of writing this article remains 0-1 as Arsenal took the early first half lead against Crystal Palace with the goal from Gabriel Martinelli, in the 19th minute.
However, there was a poor decision made by the Referee and the Video Assistant Referee against Crystal Palace in the first half.
There was a foul committed by an Arsenal player in the penalty box, and according to the rules of football, when a ball is handled in the penalty area, the referee and VAR is supposed to award a penalty.
A review of the incident clearly shows that the ball was handled by an Arsenal player. However, despite this, the Referee and VAR refused to award a penalty to Crystal Palace.
