Final EPL Table After Today's Matches as Chelsea Tops the League Standings

Gameweek 7 (Day 1) Ended in a cool way as Arsenal kept it tight once again this evening as they managed to pick up a good 0-0 draw with an in-form Brighton and Hove Albion side at the AMEX Stadium

Mikel Arteta made one change to the side that won against Tottenham in the Premier League last weekend, with Lokonga replacing the injured Xhaka, Bukayo Saka, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Martin Odegaard all started for the Gunners.

Arsenal started the match brightly, with Mikel Arteta's side dominating play, creating chances and causing all sort of problems for Brighton backline.

The first real chance fell to Bukayo Saka who dribbled past a couple of Brighton defenders before shooting on goal, but his effort was well saved R.Sanchez. Graham Potter side settled into the match, controlling the midfield, getting into good positions, attacking with purpose and causing Aaron Ramsdale problems but they couldn't breach Arsenal's defence with Adam Lallana and Trossard guilty of missed chances.

Mikel Arteta made some changes in the second half, with Nicolas Pepe coming on for Martin Odegaard, Lacazette for Aubameyang, but the Gunners lacked ideas going forward, with Brighton continuing from where they stopped in the first half. Brighton did all they could against Mikel Arteta's side but they couldn't get the goal they deserve.
