Meet The 18-Year-Old Goalkeeper That Could Replace Mendy, If He Fails To Be Fit For The City Match

Eduoard Mendy and Christian Pulisic are the two players that won't be available for Chelsea's clash against Manchester City in the premier league on Saturday lunchtime kickoff in the English top-flight. Kepa Arrizabalaga has been doing an incredible job for Chelsea as a backup goalkeeper.

Eduoard Mendy got injured in Chelsea's champions league match with Zenit St Petersburg when he clashed with the Russian club's striker in the dying stages of the match. Eduoard Mendy has missed two games so far but Kepa Arrizabalaga is doing excellently well.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to start again in goal for Chelsea against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. The Spaniard will be starting three matches in a row for the first time in a really long time. With Kepa between the sticks at Stamford Bridge, one or two backup goalkeepers will be expected to be on the bench incase of an injury.

18-year-old, Teddy Sharman-Lowe, has been training with the Chelsea first team players for a while now despite still representing the Chelsea U-23 side. Teddy Sharman-Lowe might replace Eduoard Mendy on the bench against Manchester City in the premier league.
