The defending champions lost 4-2 against a well organized Germany side in the EURO 2020 group stage games, Portugal scored the first goal of the game thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo brilliance in front of the post but that was not enough for the portuguese team to beat Germany.
The German national team came from a goal down to defeat Portugal 4-2, two first half own goal from Rueben Dias and Gurreiro was all Germany needed in the first 45 minutes of the game.
They came back in the second half and scored two fantastic goals thanks to Kai Harvetz's strike and Gosen's header, Diego Jota scored the last goal of the game to end the encounter 4-2.
After the game, Cristiano Ronaldo posted on his Instagram page that they believe as much as they do. The team will now face off against France on wednesday and this clash will decide which team proceed to the next round and which team will get knocked out in group F.
