As we all know, Chelsea has one of the best squads in the premier league this season and tactical players are available at every position for the club.
Well, Thomas Tuchel has used the squad well for most of the season, with only third choice goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli and youngster player Xavier Mbuyamba yet to see any minutes in all competition for the Blues.
Apart from these players, there are still a good number of players that have played fewer minutes than was expected.
With that, let's take a look at 6 Chelsea players who have not enjoyed much game time at the club this season.
Barkley has made 3 substitute appearances that have amounted to just 39 minutes. He played a vital role after playing against Southampton.
Thomas Tuchel has not given him much game time but with hopes, he could see his playing time increase in the coming weeks.
2. Malang Sarr:
Malang Sarr made one start in the Carabao Cup for the Blues and he has played the entire 90 minutes as he helped Chelsea secure a win in the match.
Since Thomas Tuchel started playing Trevoh Chalobah, his game time reduced and he hasn't played in either of the major competitions for the Blues yet.
3. Saul Niguez
I think Saul has not been able to enjoy an ideal start for the Blues, he has only managed to play up to 120 minutes in total.
Saul seems to have decreased on the Blues pecking order especially with the possible comeback of Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
4. Ruben Loftus-Cheek:
Loftus-Cheek can only boast of 217 minutes of playing time this season and he could be added to the Blues starting XI because he's been playing on big clubs like Man City and that he made a good impression against Southampton.
5. Ben Chilwell:
I know a lot of Chelsea fans will be surprised to see Ben Chilwell's name on this list despite establishing himself in the starting XI by the end of last season.
However, this season he has managed to start just matches and played a total of 233 minutes. I think he needs more game time like last season.
6. Christian Pulisic:
Pulisic has been affected by injury for most of the season and he has managed to play 159 minutes this season.
I hope he gets better and comes back to the Blues starting XI this season.
