Super Eagles prospect nets brace in his team's 6 goals thriller

Super Eagles of Nigeria target Lukas Nmecha was on target twice for Anderlecht football club of Belgium on Thursday night, in their six goals thriller against Club Brugge FC in the Belgian Pro League playoff.

The Manchester City football club of England on loan star was able to impress again, as he scored two goals to rescue a point for his team.

Coach Vincent Kompany gave the youngster another starting role in his team's attack alongside Ghanaian star Majeed Ashimeru, and the duo were able to impress.

Hans Vanaken opened scoring for the away team in the 13th minutes, after receiving an assist from Charles De Ketelaere, before Lukas Nmecha equalized for the home team in the 42nd minutes, to end the first half 1-1.

Hans Vanaken made it 2-1 in the 54th minutes, and Noa Lang scored to make it 3-1, before the host fought back through another goal from Lukas Nmecha in the 65th minutes, while Jacob Bruun Larson equalized in the 90th minutes.

Lukas Nmecha who has been Gernot Rohr target for the last few years was exceptional for the home team in the entertaining encounter, and he was able to mark his impressive performance with a brace.

The draw against Club Brugge FC has now taken Anderlecht football club to the third spot in the Belgium Pro League table with 33 points.
