Martin Odegard may be on his way back at Arsenal as agreement to sign him on a permanent basis is almost reached with real Madrid.
The Norwegian captain is the number one Arsenal's candidate to fill the number 10 position after having a successful loan spell with them last season. According to Daily mail, negotiations are now at the final stages to bring him back to Emirate stadium on a parmernent basis.
Odegard loved his loan spell at Arsenal and would welcome the chance of his coming to Emirate stadium. Real Madrid wanted to keep the 22 year old and sell Isco but no bid has been received for the Spaniard.
Transfer talks are ongoing and a fee of 30-35 million pounds would be agreed after which the Norwegian captain will sign a 5 year contract. Arsenal made a move sign the 22 year old after the deal for James Maddison was abandoned.
Leicester city asking price for Maddison was 60 million pounds and they are not ready to reduce it. Martin Odegard had 14 appearances for the Gunners last season with 1 goal and 2 assists.
