Mark Lawrenson Predicts EPL Scoreline Between Manchester United And Brighton

Former Liverpool Midfielder, Mark Lawrenson, has predicted the outcome of Manchester United against Brighton in today’s Premier League clash believing the gown team will be victorious with 2-1 goals.

He think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men will take all three points against Brighton at Old Trafford, adding that he expects a tight game between both teams as the away will love to secure a point.

Manchester United are currently in the 2nd position on the Premier League log with 17 points behind leaders Manchester City, while their opponents Brighton are down in 16th place which make the game more serious.

“Brighton have won their last 2 premier League games, and they’re suddenly scoring for fun this season,” he told BBC Sport before the game.

“Brighton are now 6 points above the bottom three clubs, which is a lot at this stage of the season, and with a much better goal difference than the teams under them.

“So, the West London team head to Old Trafford on a high mora, and they are probably still wondering how they lost 3-2 to Manchester United at the start of the season with a late penalty from Bruno Fernandes, was scored after the full-time whistle was blown by the referee, at the end of an absolutely crazy match that Brighton should have won that day.

“Things might be pretty tight for United this time, but I’m going for another Old Trafford win, Manchester United 2, Brighton 1.”

The kick-off time for Manchester United and Brighton game is scheduled at7.30 pm.
