Despite adding several players to their squad during the summer, the Camp Nou side are currently sitted in 7th place on the La Liga table after playing 13 league matches.

Coupled with that, Barcelona are also seated in second place in their UEFA Champions League group and could be eliminated to the Europa League if results do not go their away in their next Champions League match.

Due to that, the Camp Nou side remain keen on improving their current squad when the transfer window opens and they have been linked with a move for Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech.

The experienced right-winger enjoyed a superb 2020/2021 season where he scored six goals and provided four assists in 39 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea.

Hakim Ziyech has also enjoyed a brilliant start to the 2021/2022 season and has scored two goals and created three assists in the 12 matches he has played so far.

His impressive performances is believed to have attracted interest and according to reports from The Sun, Barcelona are keen on bringing him to Spain.

The reports further claimed that Barcelona have made enquiries about the availability of Hakim Ziyech as they plan to make a move for him when the transfer window opens.
