Stop Comparing Ronaldo And Messi: Ronaldo Broke 3 Records Yesterday When Juventus Played Lazio

It is known that one can't talk about football without mentioning Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi. This is the biggest football rivalry of all time as if you love football you're either a Ronaldo man or a Messi Man.

Although they're both great players, they're always trying to outshine each other on the pitch by earning various individual awards and achieving hard or impossible feat.

Before we continue, lets take a brief look at their biographies.

Lionel Andrés Messi was born 24 June 1987. He is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward and captains both Spanish club Barcelona and the Argentina national team.

He is considered as the best player in the world and widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, Messi has won a record six Ballon d'Or awards, and a record six European Golden Shoes. He has spent his entire professional career with Barcelona, where he has won a club-record 34 trophies, including ten La Liga titles, four UEFA Champions League titles and six Copas del Rey. He has scored over 715 senior career goals for club and country.

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos was born 5 February 1985.

He is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Serie A club Juventus and captains the Portugal national team.

He is Often considered the best player in the world and widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, Ronaldo has won five Ballons d'Ors and four European Golden Shoes, both of which are records for a European player. He has won 29 major trophies and he is one of the few recorded players to have made over 1,000 professional career appearances and has scored over 734 senior career goals for club and country.

Last night Ronaldo broke three records when he side Juventus went up against title chasers Lazio, and he found the back of the net twice.

Ronaldo now happens to be the first Juventus player since 1952 to score 30 goals in a Single Seria A season. Secondly he is now the Fastest player to reach 50 Serie A goals since his 1985 birth (he did so in 61 games), and thirdly Ronaldo is now the first player ever to score 50 goals in the English, Italian & Spanish leagues.

With these achievements I think for now he has an edge over Messi.
