Akwa United were unable to secure maximum points from their today's encounter as they were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw against River United at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium. The Goalscorers were Charles Atshimene and Bakary Bamba.
Enyimba initiated a wonderful comeback in their today's fixture as they narrowly defeated Jigawa Golden Stars 2-1 at the Enyimba national stadium. Goals from Reuben Bala and Tosin Omoyele gave Enyimba all three points at full-time.
