UBarcelona is back in action today together with their League rival Real Madrid as they sit home at the Camp Nou to welcome Osasuna following their narrow 1-0 win at the Estadio José Zorilla against Real Valladolid on Saturday. After having suffer a major blow in their title chase when they drew 2-2 with Atletico Madrid,they seem to be in form presently having won their last three matches in the La Liga against Valladolid,espanyol and Villarreal making it three wins from three games.
Prior to Barcelona game tonight,they are already trailing current League Leaders Real Madrid with four points which means only a lose for Real Madrid tonight can keep Barcelona in the title race with just two games left to play in the Spanish La Liga.Barca will hope for Madrid to drop points today so they can still have a chance of clinching the title which might not be possible given Zinedine Zidane's men form after the restart.
Barcelona are however the favorites to win tonight's match against their Osasuna opponent given that they take them on at Campnou,a home ground which Barca have not lose a game since the restart.
Barcelona are also one step away from their second undefeated home campaign in the La Liga since the 2013/14 season.
Barcelona really needs the win tonight if they are going to have some hope left in their title chase given Real Madrid drop points against Villarreal tonight.
Otherwise,Real Madrid will be crowned Champions tonight provided that their scoreline is greater than that of Barcelona.
Tonight's match is a tricky one for both teams as it turns out to be decisive for the La Liga title which will make both teams fight for the points at their various end and might eventually turn out to be a cracker.
Barcelona needs to focus on the game tonight and doesn't need to underestimate Osasuna because they are also not doing bad given they currently sit 11th position on the La Liga table.
Semedo and Lenglet retains their position in the starting Line up today while Dembele, Griezmann and Umtiti are absent in the team sheet.
Antonie Griezmann won't feature in the game tonight while Luiz Suarez will be coming from the bench in tonight's match.
