10 years ago, we had no idea that football the World of football will look like this today, In 2011, Ronaldo was only a 1x Balon d'Or winner, and that was the year he won his first trophy for Real Madrid; which was the Copa Del Ray title 2010-2011 season.

Messi on the other hand was still very young and vibrant, that year he set a record by scoring 73 goals for Barca, and he won his third Balon d'Or award.

By 2031, here are 4 things that may change in the world of football.

1. Retirement

10 years from now, a lot of prominent players would be retired. Messi would be 44, Ronaldo 46, Lewandowski will be 43, Aubameyang 42, Agüero would be 43, Ibrahimović will be 50. By 2031 most of these players would stop playing professionally.

Well, some believe Messi and Ronaldo may still win the Balon d'Or 2 or 3 more times before they leave professional football. Both of them will leave behind a legacy that will be hard to match even in 10 years to come.

2. Young Stars

Right now there are so many young footballers that will definitely achieve a lot in their careers. The likes of Mbappe, Haaland, Sancho, Greenwood, and Saka will be the next big thing.

By 2031, some of these players will be Balor d'Or winners, world record holders, and the likes of it. We are slowly moving into a new era.

3. New Football Managers

Over the years Ronaldo, Messi, and some other prominent footballers have displayed the qualities of leadership on the pitch.

Just like Zinedine Zidane and Frank Lampard, some of these popular footballers may end up as club Managers.

4. Next Gen Football Stars

As we speak, a lot of Players are grooming their sons, to become even better footballers, and in 10 years we may see them working in the footsteps of their fathers.

Just like Isaac Drogba, Enzo Fernandez, and Erling Haaland are doing.
