Nigerian Wrestler Defeats WWE Legend to Retain World Heavyweight Title [Photos]

Nigerian wrestler on the Impact Wrestling roster, Quinn Ojinnaka was able to conquer his challenger as he successfully defended his prestigious belt.

Self-proclaimed TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose was pitched against a WWE legend for his title at the latest Impact Wrestling Pay-Per-View tagged Slammiversary.

The match was given a specific stipulation which is so befitting for a highly reputable World Wrestling Entertainment former ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer.

Old School Rules means anything goes as they were allowed to use dangerous weapons which is what Tommy Dreamer is more familiar with over the years.

The challenger, Dreamer started with dominance by hitting Moose on the head with a trash can lid. Moose goes low as he drives Dreamer into the guardrail.

Moose was able to perform a vertical suplex from the top of the ropes while Dreamer performed a Russian leg sweep with his signature kendo stick.

The legend Dreamer got into trouble when he jumped off the rope but Moose countered him with a sick mid-air dropkick.

Dreamer was able to connect with the cutter into a garbage can. Moose turns the tide with a modified Uranagi into a pile of steel chairs, followed by a standing Moonsault.

Dreamer used his signature DDT but Moose kicks out at two. Moose puts Dreamer face-first into a pile of thumbtacks.

But it was the young competitor that finished the match victorious with the Lights Out Spear to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Title.
