Barcelona left it late in their La Liga must win match today against Real Valladolid, as they won 1-0 at camp Nou thanks to Ousmane Dembele's stunner in the 90th minute. Barcelona dominated the game in the entire duration, but Real Valladolid who are seeking for safety defended superbly before they were broken in the last minute of normal time.
The match was really dramatic from the first minute, Real Valladolid was clearly denied a penalty in the second half, after Barcelona defender Jordi Alba handled the ball in his 18 yard box, but the referee was uninterested, there was a call by VAR but nothing was awarded.
Real Valladolid O. Piana also received a red card for his first time challenge on Ousmane Dembele, despite Valladolid players protesting for the Red card to be discarded, the referee didn't give in to their protests.
Barcelona are just one point behind leaders Athletico Madrid, and they will be facing a crucial El classico match in the weekend in what could be a title decider.
Do you think VAR was right not to award this penalty?.
