RMD Vs SHE: Real Madrid Team Updates, Recent Forms, Likely Formation And Match Day Result.

Carlo Anceloti has started his second spell with the Los blancos in very impressive manner, and on Tuesday in the second group D match of the 2021/2022 UEFA Champions league season, his team will be keen to continue their winning streak after last weekend's draw at home with Villarreal. In the other group match, Inter Milan will travel to Shakhtar Donetsk to battle for their first win in the group D.

Ahead of the match at Santiago Bernabeu, 8pm (GM +1), let's look at Real Madrid Team News, their previous Meetings with FC Sheriff, recent forms of both teams, likely formations to be deployed by Carlo Anceloti and predicted Match Result.

Real Madrid Team Updates

Carlo Anceloti has announced his squad to face the yellow-blacks in Tuesday's night. Daniel Carvajal, Gareth Bale, Dani Ceballos and Mendy are all out due to injuries. However, Captain Mercelo and Toni Kroos are back to training but are unlikely to start on Tuesday. Carlo Anceloti has a relatively full squad to face the Wasps.

Defenders: Marcelo, Eder Militão, David Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho Hernandez, Miguel.

Midfielders: Isco, Camavinga, Luka Modric, Casemiro, Federico Valverde, Blanco, Lucas Vasquez.

Recent Meetings In This Fixture, And Both Teams Recent Forms

FC Sheriff is a Moldovan football club based in Tiraspol, a city located in the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. 2021/2022 UEFA Champions league season is the first time FC Sheriff will be competing in Europe's elite Football League after several attempts in the qualifying rounds. They had to beat Teuta Durres, Alashkert, Red Star Belgrade and Dinamo Zagreb to advance to this group stage. This fixture on Tuesday will be the first meeting between Real Madrid and FC Sheriff.

Real Madrid's winning streak in all competitions since their 3-3 draw at Levante on 22nd August, ended last weekend after a 0-0 draw with Villarreal but will be keen to return to winning ways against the Wasps.

For FC Sheriff, they enter this fixture having won four of their last eight away European fixtures, suffering just one defeat in the process. They started their 2021-22 domestic campaign strongly and have picked up 19 points from their eight league matches to sit third in the table, but have played three games less than their league leaders Milsami. They visit Santiago Bernabeu on the back of a 7-0 win over Dinamo-Auto at the weekend, having beaten Shatkter Donetsk at home in their opening Group D match, something Carlo Anceloti must be very aware of.

Real Madrid Predicted Formations Against FC Sheriff

Carlo Anceloti is likely to continue with his preferred 4-3-3 formation.

With Daniel Carvajal out, Lucas Vasquez is likely to deputise on the right side defence, while Alaba returns to the left side defence. Nacho and Eder Militao is likely to continue in the central defense. In the midfield, Casemiro is likely to return in the defensive midfield and is likely to joined by Camavinga and Luka Modric, with Federico Valverde likely to play from the bench. Upfront, Eden Hazard is likely to start alongside Karim Benzema and either Asensio or Vinicius.

Predicted Match Result

It would be naive for Real Madrid to see FC Sheriff as underdogs, considering their recent form and attractive counter attacking football. The match will be a very cagey affair at the Santiago Bernabeu, but it is Real Madrid who are more likely to triumph by 3-1. Benzema, Luka Modric and Vincius JnR are likely to get on the score sheet.
