Conte leaves Inter Milan despite Seria A success

Ex Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been shown the exit door by club's owners despite successfully winning the Seria A trophy with Inter Milan.Conte guided Inter Milan to their first Seria A trophy after 11 years thereby ending Juventus' 9 times Seria A trophy running streak.

According to sky sports Italy Antonio Conte was embroiled in a dispute with the owners of the club after they proposed to downsize his squad. Conte will be replaced by Simone Inzaghi as the head coach for Inter Milan after he(Conte) agreed with the club's owners on his contract termination which will see Inter Milan pay €7m (£6m) to him (Conte) for the final year of his contract.

Conte was reportedly asked to cut his wage bill by 15 to 20 percent and potentially sell players worth £70m this summer by Inter Milan Chairman Steven Zhang.

But Conte was keen to keeping his players which he sees as untouchable. These players are Romelu Lukaku, Skiniar and Lautaro Martinez. Lukaku is happy at Inter Milan but the departure of Conte has raised a question over his future in Inter.

Conte disclosed his unhappiness with the club's owners asking him to cut prices just few days of winning the Seria A trophy.
