Man utd edge out Granada to seal semi final spot

Man utd have now qualified for Europa league semi finals after beating Granada 4-0 on aggregate.

Goals from Cavani and an own goal by Vallejo was enough to secure a spot for united in the last eight.

Man utd who already had a 2-0 lead in the first leg, put in a solid performance to boost their hopes of lifting a silverware this season.

With a host of regular first team players absent from the game, including Rashford and Maguire, they were still able to control the game, which is a positive step for the team.

Man utd would now face Italian giants, Roma in the semi finals on April 29 and May 6 respectively. The encounter would definitely be a tougher test for the English giants and a decisive contest in their hopes of clinching the Europa league cup.

The winner from the contest would then face whoever emerges winner in the contest between Arsenal and Villarreal in the finals.
