4 signs that Barcelona is having a bad time

It's been a tough season for Barcelona so far this campaign following the departure of talisman Lionel Messi.

The Argentinian left the Blaugrana for Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent after 22 successful years with the club.

Coach Ronald Koeman has seen his position questioned after a disappointing start to the campaign, but so far no decision has been made.

The new arrival, Memphis Depay, who was impressive for the Camp Nou side earlier in the season, has struggled to maintain form, especially against top teams.

In this article are the signs that show how weak the Spanish giants are currently.

1. One win in the last six games

In Barcelona’s last six matches across all competitions, the Catalans have won just one match against Levante, while losing three and drawing two.

2. 0 points in the Champions League

After two games played this season in the UEFA Champions League, Barcelona are rock bottom of their group with zero points following consecutive 3-0 losses to Bayern Munich at home and Benfica away.

3. 13 goals conceded, 11 goals scored

In the Blaugrana's last six games, the Spanish giants have conceded thirteen goals and scored eleven goals. They conceded seven goals in the league and six in the Champions League, while all of their eleven goals were in the league.

4. Ninth in La Liga

After seven rounds of games in the Spanish top flight championship, the Camp Nou side sits 9th on the table with 12 points out of a possible 21. They won three matches, drew three and lost one.
