Pogba Sends Touching Video Message To Nigeria's Ofobor On His Promotion To Championship With Wycombe

Paul Pogba has sent a touching message to Nigeria midfielder, Nathan Ofoborh, congratulating him for securing promotion to Championship with Wycombe Wanderers.

The Manchester United midfielder, in a video empathised with the 20-year-old on his turtuous football journey, adding that he would keep watching after him until he plays in the Premier League.

He said: "Nnamdi, what's up man? It's your boy PP. I had about you. I just want to congratulate you on your promotion to Championship. I heard about your long journey in football and outside football . For sure, it is not easy, it is very difficult, but indeed, I just want to wish you the best, carry on, keep it up, keep doing what you are doing man. I am going to be looking after you and looking what you ....and tell until get to Premier League. Keep it up my G, we are together, peace man!"

Ofoborh, who has been capped three times by Nigeria at U20 level, joined Wycombe Wanderers in September on a season-long loan from AFC Bournemouth.

He made his professional debut in Wycombe's league game against Lincoln City on 8 September 2019 and scored his first goal in an EFL Trophy tie against Milton Keynes Dons on 12 November 2019. The bulky player Nnamdi then went on to score his first league goal for the team in a EFL League One play-off semi final against Fleetwood Town on 3 July 2020.
