ARS 1 VS FUL 1: After The Match, See What Mikel Arteta Said About VAR

Arsenal hosted relegation threatened Fulham at the Emirates stadium. Arsenal were looking grab all three points in today's match but Fulham gave in their best against the gunners.

Fulham got a narrow 1-0 lead in the first half of the match after Josh Maja scored from the penalty spot. Gabriel conceded the penalty in the second half of the match after he brought Mario Lemina down in the penalty area. The Video Assistant Referee reviewed the situation and awarded the penalty to Fulham. Fulham recorded just one shot on target against Arsenal in today's match.

Arsenal kept pushing for the equalizer, they had better chances of scoring but somehow failed to capitalize from those chances created. Arsenal waited till the final minutes of the match to score the equalizer, the goal came from an unusual goal scorer. Edward Nketiah who came in as a substitute in the second half of the match scored the equalizer for Arsenal as they shared points with Fulham. Fulham wou have gotten awy with all three points but Edward Nketiah's late strike was enough to spare Arsenal a point.

Mikel Arteta made comments after the match, Arsenal had to fight back in the final minutes of the match. They earned a point against relegation threatened Fulham. The Video Assistant Referee disallowed Arsenal's goal twice and handed Fulham a penalty in the second half of the match. Arsenal got their first goal disallowed after Bukoya Saka was seen offside in the goal build up. Here's what Mikel Arteta said about the video assist referee. "We have to trust them, that's the only thing".

Mikel Arteta wouldn't be impressed with his team performance in today's match, he also said that they deserved all three points as they were the better team in the match. Arsenal conceded just one shot on target in the match and had better chances of scoring but somehow failed to capitalize from those chances.
