Tuchel provides injury updates on Timo Werner and Lukaku following their 4-0 win against Malmo.

Chelsea comfortably defeated Malmo at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night with goals coming from Christensen, Jorginho(2 goals), and Kai Havertz respectively.

However, Chelsea's impressive performance on the night was somewhat soured by first-half injuries to Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner as the two strikers limped off the pitch in the early stage of the game. And after the game, Thomas Tuchel has provided some updates on the injuries, and how long they could be out.

'Well, I can just tell you what you maybe saw,' Tuchel began.

'We have a twist of the ankle with Romelu, and a muscle injury in his hamstring for Timo. They will be some days out, I guess.'

'Normally we are in a good place injury-wise, we had only Christian Pulisic out. We have a lot of games and competitions, and okay, somehow we have to deal with this and find solutions. There are no excuses.'

However, Chelsea will return to Premier League action on Saturday against Norwich at Stamford Bridge, and they are likely to miss the two strikers.
