There are a lot of people trying hard to understand one more language apart from their mother tongue but they are finding it difficult. However, this is not the case for Chelsea Mateo Kovacic.
The 25-year-old Croatian midfielder can speak Croatian, Italian, Spanish, German and English.
He started his professional career in his home country, Croatia where he played for Dinamo Zagreb. He won two domestic titles with the side.
He moved to Inter Milan in 2012 where he also showcased himself as a star to the Italian giants for three years before moving to Real Madrid.
The midfielder was a regular starter under Rafael Benitez before the Spanish giants pitched their tent with Zinedine Zidane where he was rarely used.
He moved to Chelsea on loan in 2018 and made the move permanent in 2019 after he penned a 5-year deal the West London side.
Injuries almost ended his thriving career abruptly but he has moved past that stage.
He is a vital part of the Chelsea team at present.
Do you like Kovacic's style of play?
